HEPTAHEDRON – A CITY’S ODYSSEY (OF SURREALITY)

This is a broken and suspicious “journey” – we will travel five corners in the city, discover in the urban landscape. Turned your normal daily life into magical, listen to different people’s life stories, or surreal or missing or familiar.

Seven pieces of puzzle · no start and no end

“HEPTAHEDRON” is a project of five performances, a forum and one “action”, they can be watch as independent show or as a cross-media journey. Including drama, dance, sound, storytelling, visual arts, and text from different characters, different perspectives.
The journey has no established order, is not “a” story, nor “some” unrelated broken pieces. The name “Heptahedron” refers an object with seven faces, it has the possibility of many combinations. Therefore, these fragments are like puzzles, fit together but the pieces always in different shape and size.

The “journey” require audience participation. We will leave the theater or gallery, go into different corners of the city, immersive experience, observe real urban landscape. “Audience members”are not just spectators, we wish to remodelling the relationship of performance, “the people who watching”, and the people who participant.
